Aurora House Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and licensed Special Care Facility that provides compassionate care for people in the final stages of life at no cost to the patient (Aurora House Foundation is NOT hospice).
Aurora House Foundation is located at 2646 W 18th St, Weslaco, TX 78596.
Aurora House provides private room & board, 24-hour care services (including administering medications, meals, cleanliness, and assistance with personal needs), support to families, and educational programming related to End-of-Life Care.
Persons enrolled in a hospice program who have been diagnosed as terminal and have a life expectancy of less than three months are eligible for care at Aurora House.
No, Aurora House provides its services at no cost to the patient or family. We do not charge Medicaid/Medicare/private insurance.

Aurora House is funded through donations, community support, and charitable contributions. We do not receive insurance reimbursement or government money.
