Bereavement Support Group

The Bereavement Support Group will be an informal gathering with experienced facilitators navigating the sessions. Each session will have different themes and group activity opportunities throughout the program with the purpose of creating a comfortable space to explore and discuss feelings of grief. Whether someone wants to share an experience or simply be present in the group is up to the individual and their choice will be respected.

The loss of a loved one can be an overwhelming ordeal and there is no “normal” when it comes to grieving. Processing grief will look different from person to person and being able to come together and offer support wherever they may be on that journey is what this program strives to achieve. The bereavement support program will provide education about processing grief, emotional support, spiritual support, and access to resources for future assistance.

This program is FREE and open to the public. Sessions are bilingual and will be available in English and Spanish.
