5K 80’s Retro Glow Run/1 Mile Family Fun Run, 80’s Costume Contest, 80″s DJ Dance Party, Supporter Booths, fun activities for the kids. Glow in the Dark Paint, photo booth, and just plenty of community fun.
Our main goal for this 5K is to raise funds to help Aurora House continue to provide 24/7 end-of-life care to individuals who have been diagnosed as terminal and have a life expectancy of less than three months. Our services are provided at no cost to the residents or their families. As a non-profit we rely on the generosity of donors in our community. We serve the entire Rio Grande Valley and partner with several hospice organizations in our community to provide companionship, homemaker services, and compassionate support to individuals in their last phase of life.
